backing up to external hard drive with password

Hi!

I am backing up a site to an external hard drive that has a password. So of course when choosing that volume it is denied because:

couldn't be created (error 13: Permission denied)

How can I enter the password to allow permission?

Make sure the filesystem is mounted properly before initiating the transfer.
