I just used Filezilla to remotely view and edit a text file. After saving it, I didn't see it in the remote directory, even after refreshing, and even after quitting and restarting Filezilla.
I logged into the remote server via the shell and the file was there (whew).
I then tried Forklift (an FTP client on my Mac) and it sees the file.
But Filezilla doesn't.
What might be the issue?
Thanks,
doug

Re: Couldn't see a remote file after editing it
As you can remote SSH into the server, could you check if the server maybe did assign bad/wrong UNIX permissions and/or owner information?

Re: Couldn't see a remote file after editing it
Actually, it turns out I can see the file. I was looking by last modified date. That's what appeared to not be working. If I reorder in alphabetical order it's in the remote listing, and has the correct date (today), but if I switched to last modified order it wasn't showing in the right order. But... now it is. So... never mind.
