Theme .png icon files

#1 Post by katesteele » 2019-12-03 18:35

Hi - I've noticed that every time I run FileZilla, a set of the .png icon files appears in my Documents folder.
Can someone confirm that this is coming from the below entry in fzdefaults.xml?
I don't have admin access on my work laptop to edit this file so trying to confirm first before I try to get this edited.

<Setting name="Cache directory">$USERPROFILE/Documents</Setting>

Thanks in advance, Kate

Someone set the icon cache to your Documents directory. Normally, it's in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FileZilla.

Nothing we can do, it's working as designed. No idea why they redirected it, you need to ask them if your need the reason.

Thanks for the reply! I will try to get that changed - it's just annoying to see all the files in my Documents folder. :)
