HI folks,
I have an issue with Filezilla 3.46.0. When starting a new transfer (download) the application suddenly closes without any sort of prompt. I have set the 'end of queue action' to 'alert me', so that shouldn't be the problem. I have tried to Google the issue and also searched in the forums here, but couldn't find a post related to this issue. Can anyone assist?

Same problem here. Works only if I turn OFF the speed limiter during file selection, then only turn ON once everything is added to the download queue. [The clue was in the release notes for that last update: it's primary purpose was to 'fix' speed limiter function to better manage download speeds.]
I also notice that your system/build info is identical to mine in every way. The developers might find that curious perhaps:

Re: filezilla suddenly closes
Which protocol are you using?
Re: filezilla suddenly closes
FTP over TLS, two different servers.
Edit: after reading DomTB's post I checked the throttle settings, apparently they had been turned on. I`m not sure whether I did this myself or the update to the most recent version switched it. After turning the throttle off via the bottom taskbar I seem to longer have the closing issue. I will test this further to confirm, as I have not transferred all that much just yet.
Edit2: After testing some more I found that downloading to my internal HDD doesn't seem to give any issues whether the throttle was on or off. The issue persisted only when downloading to my NAS, which I`m reinstalling atm so I`ll test some more later on.
