Incredibly slow file transfer speeds.

Hi,

I'm using FileZilla to upload mod files to a Minecraft server hosted by ShockByte. The transfer is working, but for some reason is transferring at about 4 KiB/s. It's taking 3-4 hours for a file that's only a few kilobytes.

Is there a way to speed this up, an upload speed limit I haven't seen in the settings? If not, are there any other ideas?

What's your latency to the server? What rate of packet loss do you have towards this server?
