trabsferring hidden files

Hello,
Pardon me, if the following is a silly question!
I did a LONG file-transfer to a FileZilla server, only to realize that NO hidden files (eg. .htaccess) were transferred from my client system to the server. I suppose hidden files are NOT transferred if they are filtered out, correct? I never had this happen before and haven't "fiddled" with the filters - at least I am not aware of that. I am on Debian 10 and FZ 3.39.

Open menu View - Directory listing filters... and check for yourself. If there is a checkmark in "Configuration file" at the local site, no dotfiles have been transferred to the server. If there is a checkmark in "Configuration files" at the remote site, the dotfiles have been transferred to the server, but are not shown.
Even if there is NO checkmark in either site, please note that there are lots of servers hiding them by themselves. Nothing you can do against this.

I am on Debian 10 and FZ 3.39.

Please download the latest version from the download page, it is built for Debian 10 Buster and should run without issues.

Thanks a lot for the very prompt reply! Actually, I had defined a "personal" filter ("noDotFiles") on both server and client, not knowing that "Configuration Files" does the same job. At least the client noDotFiles-filter must have been activated during file upload. I have deactivated it now and also downloaded/installed 3.47. Let's see what happens
