BUG - drag & drop does not work if launch "filezilla.exe" -c

#1 Post by adonet » 2020-04-04 09:13

I had a problem, drag and drop doesn't work for me if I launch "filezilla.exe" -c "0 / MyFTPserver" to load filezilla and automatically connect to MyFTPserver.
But if I start filezilla without the -c parameter, drag & drop works perfectly.

windows 10.

Is there another method for filezille to automatically connect to a server when starting filezilla?

How do you run the FileZilla command line?

One common error would be starting FileZilla from an elevated command shell (Administrator: is in the title). Running the FileZilla Shortcut as Administrator is another one. Elevated (FileZilla) and non-elevated (Explorer) processes cannot interact with each other directly, and Drag and Drop will fail in this case. Userspace separation (or User Account Control) at its best.
If you did, try starting it explicitly without elevation.
