I am currently creating a site, and i want to install MediaWiki. However, the company i am using hosting from doesn't seem to connect on ANY FTP client, including FileZilla. Online ones, like net2ftp work, but they time out if i try to send the install files. I have been in contact with their support for over a week, and they say they can connect to it just fine. I don't know HOW thats possible, when i have tried every single possible solution, and i still get the same error, and it doesn't make sense when browser-based FTP clients can connect just fine
Status: Resolving address of (site name)
Status: Connecting to 37.59.49.187:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection closed by server
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
What should I do? My anti-virus and firewall settings are not messing with this, they're turned off. Is the hosting company lying, or am I just doing something wrong?
Hosting provider says they can connect to my site with FTP just fine, but i can't.

There seems to be no working FTP nor SFTP server at that address. I cannot connect, neither can https://ftptest.net do. That's a 100% indication of something wrong server-side.
