Filezilla Doesn't Even Attempt to Connect

Filezilla client version 3.48.0

This just all of a sudden started happening. When I try to connect to my server, nothing happens. I don't get the connection routine. It just does not appear to do anything in response to clicking the connect button. I upgraded to 3.48.0 but no difference. Any ideas before I try re-installing?

Could some faulty third-party program be interfering with FileZilla?
