transfer file deletes
What happens if I delete the remote site files in FZ. New to this site and thought the files did not download property. So I tried to delete them except the process never stopped. Are they also being deleted on the current host site. If so I can probably restore a back up there.Probably messed up big time.

The files on the remote side in FileZilla ARE the files on the hosting server (you connected to it, right?). If you deleted them, the files on the hosting server are gone. You need to restore them from your backup.
