Hidden files not being shown in one specific server
I am unable to show hidden files (.dot files like .htaccess and the like) in one specific server using Filezilla. My View settings are correct as shown in attached screenshot. I can see the hidden files just fine in local, and I can see hidden files in OTHER servers with the same settings. But for one specific server, nothing works. Uploading a .dot file will show it for a second in remote window and then it disappears.
I have tried another FTP client, called Transmit (trial version) and it can see and transfer the hidden files just fine to / from the same server.
Server FTP connection settings:
Protocol: FTP - File Transfer Protocol
Encryption: Only use plain FTP (insecure)
Logon Type: Normal
All other settings are default.
Filezilla 3.48.1 for Mac OSX
Is this a Filezilla bug? How would I go about creating a bug report?

Your server refuses to show these files to you. Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance so that the server can be configured not to hide information from the user.

Re: Hidden files not being shown in one specific server
As I mentioned, other FTP clients like Transmit FTP Client see them just fine with that SPECIFIC server. So server is not blocking hidden files.
Re: Hidden files not being shown in one specific server
Do these other clients use MLSD, which they should?

Yes. Transmit 5 FTP Client uses MLST / MLSD by default:
https://library.panic.com/transmit/tran ... -settings/
I would be happy to send server ftp credentials over DM or pair debug if necessary. I love Filezilla, but I think in this specific instance, there's something going on.

Re: Hidden files not being shown in one specific server
In the settings of FileZilla, enable "Show raw directory listings" on the debug page, then obtain a refresh listing. The raw data sent by the server is then displayed in the message log.

Re: Hidden files not being shown in one specific server
Thanks. Raw directory listing does NOT include the hidden files. However Transmit 5 does see them with exact same connection settings. Thanks for your help. I just went ahead and purchased a license for Transmit 5.

If the road has holes, your solution is to buy an off-road vehicle instead of fixing the road.
