I know it’s been asked here before about anti virus detecting a virus in the FileZilla download and comments around doggy AV and/or unwanted software etc...

But why are you including win32.fusioncore.smbd2 in this download? And what does it do?

Maybe that’s a better question than does it contain virus/malware/spyware/unwanted ware etc...

It is used for displaying offers during installation. It's completely benign, nothing unwanted is ever installed without your consent. Report this false-positive to your AV vendor.
