So after the latest update, which i believe was yesterday or today (build 7-15-2020) what is showing in the server directory is different from what is actually there.
I can upload files, and change file names, and all is successful...except it's not actually happening on the server only in the remote site view.
Refreshing, restarting does not help. Windows 7

The remote file lists shows the contents as told by the server. Are you by chance connecting to the wrong server?
