I have wx-config --version output as 3.1.4. I am on stable version still getting wrong warning.

3.1.x does not denote stable versions of wx, they are all development versions.

Ok Noted.
I have installed 3.0.5 and now it works perfectly.

isn't there any Filezilla compiled up-to-date source, since every time compiling takes a long time.
