File truncate

I have a file that I upload through FireZilla. There are days when it works just fine and other days when it truncates the file and I have to re-upload the missed ones.
Is there a setting that would prevent us from truncating the files? Is there a file size that I need to be aware of?

Note the spelling, FileZilla without r.

Truncation is usually due to faulty firewalls and NAT routers. To prevent truncation use FTP over TLS.
