Hello

I have used to connect to server via FTP, but today it connected for sometime, then I could not connect to any server any more. it happened to all servers.

what should I do, please?

What does it say in the message log?

Looks like a firewall is interfering with the connection. The firewall could be on either end of the connection. If there is none on your side, contact your hosting provider for further assistance.

Thanks so much for the reply. I checked the firewall on my computer and the reason is not from my side.

also I tested the connection on online ftp services. some worked and some not worked. also some worked then no more.

Also there is new message log while connection:

2020-12-30 21:19:29 4012 1 Status: Disconnected from server.

could you please, let me know after these information, I should contact the hosting or there is different reason?

Yes, you need to contact your hosting provider at this point.

I have the same issue. This is the first time I'm using FileZilla and I'm unable to connect to the server.
Error: connection closed by server
Error: could not connect to server

Online test log
Warning: The entered address does not resolve to an IPv6 address.
Status: Connected, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection got closed prematurely

Results
Error: Connection got closed prematurely

A common cause for this problem are broken routers and/or firewalls that interrupt the connection.
Some broken or badly configured servers can also interrupt the connection prematurely.

The online test tests the FTP server, not your machine (unless you run the server yourself, which is unlikely). So, if the online test fails, the server doesn't work (or the server hostname you have is wrong).

You need to contact server support.
