I recently changed computers and I only use an FTP Client for two accounts. I downloaded and tried FileZilla on the recommendation of others and found that I had no problem linking up with one account but couldn't link up with the other. I went to a second FTP program (one that will soon time out) and found that both accounts work. I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't get it to work on FileZilla. When I tried to connect, this is what I get:
Status: Resolving address of ftp.worldfm.co.nz
Status: Connecting to 114.23.120.174:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Initializing TLS...
Status: Verifying certificate...
Status: TLS connection established.
Command: USER happystation
Response: 331 Please specify the password.
Command: PASS ******
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server
Can anyone explain why this won't work on FileZilla but will work someplace else?
Thanks
Peter

Re: Problems Getting Into The System
Did you use Copy-Paste to get the login credentials in? In the process, you might have introduced a stray blank character (leading and/or trailing). Please try actually typing out the username and password.

Re: Problems Getting Into The System
Actually, as mysteriously as the problem occurred, it seems to have now disappeared without any intervention on my part. It's now working, but thanks for your input!
