Not seeing .zip files on my server

#1 Post by windwood » 2021-02-19 15:51

I've used this product for a long time but recently .zip archives are not viewable anymore. I don't have any filters set and "Force showing hidden files" is checked. Don't know what to do to resolve this issue. I rely on downloading the .zip files to keep copies of my site back ups. Any help greatly appreciated.

Enable "Show raw directory listing" from the Debug tab in Settings. Now, open or refresh (F5) a server directory containing ZIP files. FileZilla will print the raw listing received from the server to the log (lines start with "Listing:"). Check the raw listing, do any of your ZIP files appear in it?

I apologize for long delay in reply. Had to leave town for awhile. Anyway, I did as you recommended and that did not work. Also, the check mark in the box to show raw files disappears when closing the program. Filezilla does not show .zip files on local or remote file systems.

You did not answer my question. It is a test, not a solution. If the server does not show ZIP files in the raw directory listing in the log, there's nothing for FileZilla to show.
If they appear, they might be in an unknown or malformed syntax.

Please do the test and report the results here.
