Well, we have a clear answer which I can share with our security team and others can see when they run into issues in their enterprise environments.

I would imagine few to none of us on this thread have influence on the security tools selected by our businesses and the policies those tools enforce.

You can install any device or software that breaks TLS on your infrastructure, but if something breaks as result, don't complain here about it. Remove the TLS-breaking device/software or complain to whoever forced you to install it.

For the past few days I've also been unable to update my FileZilla client. I'm not on any corporate network nor using any 3rd party security software besides the default Windows 10 security settings. Two different WIndows 10 devices with FileZilla 3.56.2 are unable to update. I thought this topic was the same but it may not be. In my case, both devices show an error 500 in the Filezilla client update function log:

Confirmed (Pro fails as well).
Please note this is a different error from this topic's subject. Looks like the update server's on the fritz. I'll notify the admin.
