Failed to list certain directory

#1 Post by SMCRD » 2021-03-31 16:35

Hello,

Currently having an issue with the FileZilla client.
We have a public share folder and a client share folder that is hosted by Citrix.

From the web browser we are able to access the “Public” directory and the “clients” directory

Here is us connecting to the clients share folder from Filezilla Client:

Status: Resolving address of standardmodern.sharefileftp.com
Status: Connecting to 52.6.0.127:990...
Status: Connection established, initializing TLS...
Status: Verifying certificate...
Status: TLS connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Status: Directory listing of "/" successful
Status: Retrieving directory listing of "/Clients"...
Status: Calculating timezone offset of server...
Status: Timezone offset of server is 0 seconds.
Status: Directory listing of "/Clients" successful

Then I switch to the public share folder:

Status: Retrieving directory listing of "/Public SMC FTPS Folder"...
Command: CWD /Public SMC FTPS Folder
Response: 250 "/Public SMC FTPS Folder" is the current directory.
Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Binary mode selected.
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (54,174,90,77,191,179)
Command: LIST
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

I am also able to go into the other folders that are there, but not the public one.

I also thought that it could be too long of a name or too many spaces?
But there is another folder with 3 words instead of 4 including spaces that I can access.

Could it also be IP related?

My first response was to contact Citrix.
They explained to me because we are able to access it via web browser, that it is not on their end, but the clients end.

Please advise
