Below is the info for FileZilla installed on my Mac.

All of a sudden it will not properly upload images to my ubuntu server, they become corrupted. I have tried switching to Binary from Auto, and still....nothing. Downloading images from my server is fine. But if I then reupload them to a different part of my server...they are corrupt.

Has anyone else encountered this?

But it does work if I upload images from my PC version FileZilla 3.52.2 ????????

Which protocol are you using?

FTP and its on Default for transfers. Same as it ever was. Same as it is on my PC which is set the same way and works. the only difference on my PC is that I haven't updated FileZilla in a while.

What is the nature of the corruption?

Is it FTP over TLS or plain insecure FTP?

Which FTP server software (product and version) is running on your server machine?

Use explicit FTP over TLS if available

Nothing wrong with this particular server.

Do you see a lock icon in the status bar when connected?

Can't say I do. but the problem appears to have vanished

Maybe it was related to my NAT router? Since I had to reset it since this whole thing started?

If there is no lock it means plain FTP, the server doesn't support explicit FTP over TLS.

With an insecure plain connection, a faulty router can very well corrupt files during transfer. Only TLS can protect against it.

The problem vanished, and reappeared. I have no idea why this is happening. Again, only on my Mac, the PC which I haven't upgraded FileZilla in ages, still transfers images without any corruption. Weird
