Send files to an "only write server"

Hello,

I'm trying to send files to a directory wich is protected in reading access... So I have an "550 : Access is denied" message.

How to can I set filezilla to works in this case ?

My assumption is you are getting the 550 error because Filezilla is trying to get a directory listing. Is there a way you can adjust the server to return a blank directory listing or limited directory listing?

Thank you for your response. I know that the error is due to this restriction. My FTP server is the standard Microsoft IIs server and I don't know some setting to return a blank directory.

But some other ftp clients are well working (like leechftp, cuteftp, ...) in the same configuration. So why FileZilla blocks the upload if it don't have a normally return ?

Did you already try to setup a manual transfer? (See transfer menu)
That should work on servers which do not allow directory listings.

If not, please post a complete log of a session with enabled debug information, which can be enabled on the debug page in the settings dialog.
