Only a few files being downloaded from server

Since the last Filezilla update, I am getting only 1998 files being donwloaded. I should have 9500. I informed my server. I uninstalled and reinstalled Filezilla. Please help!

Cannot. It's the server artificially limiting listed items to 2000 entries (1998 because of the special . and .. entries). Means your files are there, but not send completely by the server in listings.

The server is Yahoo. Is there any way of 'persuading' them to list all the files? They were fine until a week ago.
