You do not have permission to list this directory

#1 Post by djc1 » 2021-10-28 17:48

Ever since upgrading to macOS Monterey I cannot not access most of my local hard drive or any of my server file. I get "You do not have permission to list this directory"

I tried an older version of FileZilla and I get the same thing that I get on the most current version.

Any clues on how to solve this?

Thanks!
Dom

Try granting access in the system preferences, somewhere under security if I remember correctly.

Thank you for your suggestion....that was it! :D

The interesting thing was that FileZilla was already checked in the "Files and Folders" section of Privacy and it was not working.
I had to add FileZilla to the "Full Disk Access" section of Privacy. I wonder if that is new to Monterey.

Thanks again!
