just copy the empty directory - no files

#1 Post by fzuzer2022 » 2022-06-30 22:36

Hello,

I have the following operating problem, can anyone help me solve it?

I connect to the server through FileZilla and I want to copy a folder / directory that contains several files.

Only the name of the empty root directory is copied to the server, it does not copy any file inside it.

I'm attaching some pictures.

Thank you in advance.

Are you on Windows 7 or Server 2008 SP2 without ESU updates?

Officially, FileZilla supports only Windows 8.1 or higher, but Windows 7 with all ESU updates still works.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

That's right, I use Windows 7 and I tried from my laptop where I have Windows 10, it works.

Is there another program equivalent to FileZilla? (I would prefer to work from a PC, it's faster and I have a big monitor)

Thanks

You could update to a more modern operating system.

Windows 7 can still be upgraded to Windows 10 for free, to my knowledge.

It doesn't even have to be Windows.
