Problems with blocked FTP-Password field

#1 Post by Michael Wieden » 2022-10-06 13:56

Hi all together,
I use Filezilla since years, but actually there is a new feature or something else I cannot deal with.

I fill in the fields für server and user. When it comes to the passwort field, a layer appears over this field, that tells me "Passwords are blocked". This seems to come from OSX, because when I click on this layer, I have to login to the password storage of apple. But this is empty, so that I cannot click or add a password.

- I do not use Masterpassword
- I do not use "Saving password"-Option
- Since weeks ago everything works perfect, and I did not change any filezilla or mac options regarding to password settings.

Does anyone has an idea?

Here screenshots of the layers

Thanks for your kins advice!

Best regards
Michael

When going to the password field, just enter your password. Do not click on the context menu macOS pops up. Contact Apple for advice how to disable this unwanted functionality they added without asking.
