Client SFTP SSH not asking for password

I'm setting up a client for a co-worker and her site configuration is missing the password prompt. I've tried the "ask for password" option but this still requires entry after each closure of the client. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the password input would appear on my client but not on hers -- all options are the same as far as i can tell. Any help would be much appreciated!

Is the password field grayed out? Then her client has "Do not save passwords" selected in the FileZilla Settings → Interface → Passwords.

Or, do you mean something else?

The password field is not appearing at all -- there is simply no input box. Please see screen shot below.

Looks like password saving has been disabled. Go to the passwords page in the settings dialog.

I have already tried that. Password saving is checked within the settings -- see screen shot below. Any other ideas?

Which version of FileZilla are you using?

Version of the impacted user is 3.54.0. My version, which does not have the issue is 3.51.0.

Outdated versions are entirely unsupported. Not updating just wastes time.
