FileZilla freezing while transfering and needs restarting

Hi,

I am a beginner using FileZilla to send a large number of files (large size), using FileZilla.
I noticed that sometimes, after the files have been transferred successfully for some time, FileZilla suddenly gets stuck, and files are not being transferred anymore. FileZilla itself still works, yet no files are being transferred. If I export the queue (the .XML file) and reimport it and Process it, it starts working again. Any idea of what may be happening here and how to fix it?

My apologies if this has been answered before, I tried to find a similar thread but did not find this specific issue...

Many thanks in advance!

Which version of FileZilla are you using?

Hi,

Thanks so much for the reply!
It is version 3.63.2.1

Did you restart the client in-between export and re-import?

Yes, so the procedure is Export Queue as .XML file > Close FileZilla > Open FileZilla > Import Queue > Process Queue

I noticed that apart from this 'freezing behaviour' that I mentioned above, sometimes I have the notification that FileZilla disconnected and the transfer stops.

When it stops transferring, what does CPU usage of the FileZilla process remain at?

Thanks, do you know where I can check this information (CPU usage)?

I figure out what you mean, I think you assume to go from Task Manager. I have to wait until it freezes and will check the CPU usage , although this shouldn't be a problem I think as the computer is quite good that I am using for the transfer (if I understand correctly that the problem may be that the CPU gets overwhelmed and produces this freezing behaviour)
