Connection failure

I'm trying to access a website I haven't updated for a few years but I keep getting a connection failure using my orignal host details, user name, password and port number which haven't changed.
I'm at a new property so the router and provider are different to the original.
I've tried running the wizard and I get the following messages:

Response: 331 Give any password.
PASS 3.63.2.1
Response: 230 logged on.
Checking for correct external IP address
IP 192.168.1.81 bjc-bgi-b-ib
Response: 510 Mismatch. Your IP is 86.184.126.107, ig-bie-bcg-bah
Wrong external IP address
Connection closed

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks :P

In order to use active mode, both FileZilla as well as your NAT need to be configured correctly. You can find more information in our Network Configuration guide. In general we recommend using passive mode.

Please note that the Internet is not a static place. While you might think none of your data has changed over the years, there's actually a good chance the hosting side has changed a lot. Hosting providers tend to deactivate/suspend accounts with a prolonged period of inactivity. Pleaae check with your provider if your account is sill active, and how to reactivate it in case it's not.

My hosting is OK as my site is still up. I renewed the subscription recently with the relevant domain for that site.

@botg - I am using passive mode and have tried to follow the Network Config guide to the letter. I'm a bit of a novice so maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I didn't speak about the website (HTTP server) but the FTP account (for website maintenance). As hosters always guarantee a certain website uptime, the website will never be deactivated (as long as you pay your bills). However, for security reasons, FTP accounts are often suspended due to long periods of user inactivity (done for security). It may have to be reactivated. Additionally, FTP hostnames, ports, and protocols may have changed over the years, thus rendering your saved data obsolete.

Thanks for your help and suggestion.
I contacted my provider and the FTP host name and port number had changed.
All working now :D
