error loading and saving queue Mac version

#1 Post by PCKid32 » 2023-06-25 08:18

I see plenty of suggestions and answers for the PC version not for Mac. Only started recently. Every time i open or close it I get an error queue sqlite3. There doesn't appear to be any folder associated with Filezilla anywhere. It still works just the annoying pop ups.

The full path to the file is shown in the error message. If you delete it, it will be regenerated the next time you start FileZilla.

the path shown into my users/myname/filezilla doesn't exist. Filezilla isn't in my Users folder at all. The only place Filezilla exists is in my Applications folder.

It definitely exists. You need to tell Finder not to hide files.

I encountered two errors – the queue error and an XML file error. To resolve these issues:
1. Open Finder and press Shift + Command + H to navigate to your user folder.
2. If hidden files aren't visible (needed to locate the .config file), press Shift + Command + . (dot).
3. Look for the .config folder; if it has a red circle with a “-“ at the bottom right go to step 3.5.
3.5. Select the .config file, press Command + I to open its info, and unlock the lock icon at the bottom right of the window. Grant read/write permission to system, staff, user (your username), and admin. If username and admin aren't present, add them using the + at the bottom left.
4. Create a folder named "filezilla" (without the quotations) inside the .config folder.
5. Make two files inside the filezilla folder you just created: "filezilla.xml" and "queue.sqlite3" (without the quotations).
Additionally, in the system settings, search for "full disk access." You might need to add FileZilla if it's not listed. Click the +, navigate to applications on the left, and select FileZilla. Once added click on the switch to the right of filezilla to grant access to your disk.

P.S. After installing FileZilla from the website, remember to drag and drop it into the Applications folder.
