Cannot retrieve directory listing

#1 Post by diam0nd2 » 2023-07-10 08:03

Good day to all . I have the following issue :
From a PC I login normally in ftp but cannot retrieve the directory listing. From another pc in a different location I use ftp normally with all the listing.

I have tried to setup a new incoming rule in windows firewall
I disabled windows firewall and antivirus on that PC
I changed ftp mode into active.
I changed ftp encryption in filezilla client into only use plain ftp

All these were previously recommended in a different thread but none of the above have worked.
Could that be a matter of ftp configuration in the server?
Any more ideas ?

Thank you in advance

No, this is only a log snippet, which does not say anything. You need to post a complete, unmodified log.

Make sure to update to the most recent version of FileZilla. Also consider using passive mode. In case the server is not within your own local area network, your client isn't configured correctly for active mode, see our Network Configuration guide for further information.

Thank you for your reply.

Filezilla is updated to the last version.
Server is not in the same network. It was working normally at passive mode till some point when it stopped working.
I have tried all these you recommended but with no success so far.

I also tried my laptop to get connected to another network but still nothing

Please post a log showing a listing attempt with passive mode.
