Chromebook File editor

I did a search, could not find an answer.

I have Filezilla on my Chromebook, it works fine, I can access my server files, EXCEPT I can't see to find a way to edit files. I have Notepad on my chromebook, but can't seem to find a way to use it while in Filezilla.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to open an .htm file on the server side, to edit it, but the "default" editor will not open it. I can't find the Notepad directory path on my chromebook to use it as the editor.
