While transferring files over 150GB to an FTP site, I got message that transfer is complete.
several co-workers downloaded the file and the file was corrupt.
Is there a way to diagnose where the problem originated?
regards!

Re: Transfer successful. File corrupted.
Are you using plain insecure FTP, or are you using FTP over TLS?
Re: Transfer successful. File corrupted.
Another thing to check: Is the file binary, and does it have no extension or start with a dot? If yes, such files are by default treated as being ASCII, you need to remove the according checkmarks in the setting to transfer them as binary files.

Re: Transfer successful. File corrupted.
With plain FTP there is always a chance for random corruption. Any data packet can get corrupted, and there is a small chance corruption goes undetected.
Use FTP over TLS to protect against corrupt data packets.
