Help With error code

Hello I have never seen this before trying to log into a site and this is the error I got
You need to use a client supporting PRET (PRE Transfer) to use PASV
I have tried some other programs and they log in fine but i do not want to use them I like FileZilla
is there a setting i am missing or a way to fix this

You need to use a client supporting PRET (PRE Transfer) to use PASV
Utterly broken non-standard server. Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider to have them install a proper FTP server.
