Sometimes the connection to a server drops, and it tries to reconnect etc. Very often during a transfer Filezilla is minimized and I'm working on something else, or I am away from my PC screen. I then miss out on these events, until I open the Filezilla window again. This is where sound is very good and useful to have as an option.
I just found a thread from 2011 with the same request: viewtopic.php?t=19652. But no implementation yet. I'd like to bring this suggestion up again and hope it can be considered by the developer.
