Filezilla can't find .ppk file

#1 Post by NoahTBMEurope » 2023-10-21 18:21

Hello Everbody,

Since a few days (11 Oct) I am no longer able to upload and download files with the SFTP protocol. I can however enter the server and see the files. When i try to upload a file i get the following error (translated from dutch to english):

Status: Connect with 62.145......
Status: Skip nonexistent keyfile "C:\..........ppk"
Status: using username "nwk......"
Error: Can't connect with server

It indicates that the .ppk file does not exist. However, this is not the case. The file has been in the same place for years without any problems. Does anybody know what the problem could be?
Thanks in advance!

I tried:
- Disabling the firewall
- Changing the location of the ppk file
- Removing windows updates since 11 Okt

Filezilla version 3.65.0
PuTTYgen 0.70
Operating system: Windows 10 pro > 10.0.19045

Either the file truly does not exist, or the Windows user account FileZilla runs under does not have permission to query the attributes of item under the given pathname.
