Yesterday I updated Filezilla through the in-app updater. It went smooth. Hours later Microsoft Defender popped up with a PUA-warning.
Now, I know what PUA means (Potential Unwanted Program) and since the threat name was named "bundleInstaller", I decided to act and remove the 'threat'.

Today, wiser from yesterday, I downloaded the installer from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1 - where no "sponsored" version was mentioned, but Windows Security (through Microsoft Defender) detected the same issue at once.
Going to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/th ... tid=311942
Doesn't give me any information, and it does not have the "!ml"-tag, so it is not machine learning either.
How can I verify it is a false positive?
Thank you in advance

You need to report this false-positive to your AV vendor.

I did as requested, and found a URL to report it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission
I will return when/if I have their answer, thank you

After submitting the files for security review, the files have been re-evaluated and now FileZilla_3.66.5_win64-setup no longer triggers Windows Security / Microsoft Defender as a PUA
