You do not have permission to list this directory

#1 Post by Skyy » 2024-02-15 07:11

Hey I got a new Windows 11 system and wanted to download my files from my old PC. For some reason Filezilla doesn't have permissions to access to my local folders like Music, Pictures and Videos

The Problem is I can't add permissions in Windows for this folder because Filezilla isn't listed and I don't know how to add programs manually.

Just starting Filezilla as admin doesn't make a difference as well.

These ain't real directories. FileZilla cannot access these virtual folders/redirectors. You need to use the real directories. These are always in English.

Code: Select all

C:\Users\Skyy\Documents
C:\Users\Skyy\Pictures
C:\Users\Skyy\Music
C:\Users\Skyy\Videos
etc.

The next version of FileZilla will be able to recognize these links and instead change the local directory to the link target.
