How to make edited html work on my website?

Hello. I have no knowledge in using File Zilla and making website.
However, I have a request from my boss to fix some texts on my company website.

Even though what I explain in here doesn't make sense to you a little bit, please help me out as possible as you can.

Since I have failed in editing html on File Zilla, I used another program Edit Plus or something to make a change in html.

After I made some changes on html text, I uploaded it on File Zilla. I made sure that file name didn't get changed.
I overwrote the name of html page link or something, so that the changes could be applied on the website immediately.

Even the changes had been made on File Zilla html, I still can't see the same changes made on the website.

Does anyone have an idea to fix this problem? Or Am I missing an important thing?

Try clearing your browser cache.
