In the program dir of Filezilla, is there a folder called 'resources'?

You don't need DOS for the command line parameters. Simply edit the shortcut in the start menu and add the parameter after the executable name (+a blank) in the 'Target' field.

You need all files in the 'resources' directory to run Filezilla.
Filezilla program dir:

.\docs
.\resources
AUTHORS
filezilla.exe
fzputtygen.exe
fzsftp.exe
fzshellext.dll
fzshellext_64.dll
GPL.html
mingwm10.dll
NEWS
uninstall.exe

Dear all,

I ran into the same problem today. I found another solution. Previously, FileZilla was installed in folder "C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client", but all of a sudden the new version was placed in "C:\Program Files\FileZilla Client", without any subfolders, and without asking me anything about location. When I downloaded and installed FileZilla agin, all went well and the files ended up in "C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client". Everything is fine now.

Kind regards,
