Retain folders/files view instead of <not connected to a...

#1 Post by wdave » 2008-03-31 18:28

In FileZilla 3, when a connection to the FTP server times out, the remote file pane replaces the folders/files with the message <not connected to any server>. The behavior I'm after would be to continue to show the folders/files and simply reconnect behind the scenes whenever I drag 'n' drop a new file to be uploaded. As it stands with FZ3, after timing out, I have to reconnect to the server and browse back to the desired path before I can continuing dropping files.

Does FileZilla 3 have a setting somewhere to make it behave as desired? Checking "Send FTP keep-alive commands" does not help.

Thanks.

The "R" does work as expected. However, my desire is to avoid this extra step. Many other FTP clients leave the folders/files view intact. Is there a way to achieve the OP desired behavior with FZ3?
