The problem I am having is since the update to sp2 on WinXP, none of my ftp clients including FileZilla can connect to my website for uploading new files.
I have tried all solutions posted previously in this forum including:
*enabling pasv ftp
*disabling the windows firewall
*when the firewall is enabled, I have added FileZilla as an exception so that the ports it uses will bypass the firewall.
*adding port 21 as an exception in the firewall settings
*enabling and disabling the passive ftp mode in the IE internet settings
None of these solutions has worked, and the problem also exists in Dreamweaver & Ws_ftp pro.
I have tried connecting to my website using an online web2ftp at http://www.web2ftp.com, which works, so I know the server is up and running with no problems.
If anyone can advise or assist me with this problem It would be much appreciated.
