Cannot open or edit files in Dreamweaver

Hello Filezillians,

I just downmloaded this product today as I was frustrated with FireFTP. Good so far except when I try to edit or open a file, say, php or css in Dreamweaver the program starts but the file does not display, just blank. This process works fine in other FTP programs but not FileZilla.

Any advice is appreciated.
