FileZilla suddenly can't connect

Hi - I've been using FileZilla very happily for months but now, suddenly, it can't connect to my remote server (or any remote server at all). I've unistalled & re-installed, deleting the XML file and checking for registry entries. No change.

There is no change in my firewall or any other settings.
Dreamweaver can still connect.

I use Spybot, Norton IS *and* Trojan Hunter - all reports clean. However, I've heard of some other people having similar problems with FTP clients recently.

Is there some super-sneaky bug that could be causing this? Or can you think of anything else, please?

The problem is Norton software, just a piece of junk.
