Display password text?

#1 Post by wayneh » 2008-06-27 20:52

I have v2.2.28 which I found a hack for to show the passwords for my Sites.
I have about 20 Sites, and it makes it easier to track everything.

I'd like to use v3.x - is there a way to show the password text (instead of dots) in v3.x ?

Certainly, this should be an option, if I'm willing to take the risk, right?

Thanks.

If you lost your password, you can look into the sitemanager.xml file in your %APPDATA%\filezilla folder.

Edit: Of course this path is for windows only. On Mac OS X or Linux the file is stored somewhere else.

Can anyone point me to the file that stores the site manager passwords in OS X? I am using FileZilla 3.3.2.1 and OS X 10.5.8

Thank you!
