Upload Resuming not supported Filezilla gets into retry loop

On Comcast.net's webspace, they use some horrible ftp server that doesn't support upload resuming. When I upload files, sometimes it will try to resume files instead of replacing them, which fails. It keeps trying to resume the upload until it stops with a "too many retries" status. Is there an option somewhere to stop Filezilla from trying to resume uploads only on servers that don't support it?
