Refresh issue on remote site when deleting a folder

Hi to all,
Im using version 3.1.4.1 (client) ., connected to a Unix site from a windows XP machine and right-clicked on a folder to delete it. In the remote section, folder still appears on directory tree. If I try to access it, commands tell me: failed to retrieve directory listing. I assume it actually was deleted but it doesn't update the remote directory tree. Nothing happens if I use the "refresh" icon. The only way to make the already deleted folder dissapear is to reconnect. Am I missing something?
