Where did my 'transferred' files end up?

-Everything suggests that FileZilla is working beautifully because I'm seeing the terms Successful Transfers and File Transfer Successful.
-I had success with Passive settings and the Network configuration wizard.
-I somehow was able to upload 2 of my photos to a receiving website, but only two and that was yesterday.
-Where did the rest of my photo files end up? I'm baffled.
-Sometimes I'm seeing my so-called transferred/uploaded files in the Remote Filename window, and sometimes not. Have selected Force Showing Hidden Files.
-Thank you very much for any assistance you can offer. I'm a newbie and definitely not a techie, and I haven't found anything else exactly related to 'success' to read in order to trouble-shoot further.
