Can't see FileZilla font when using dark theme

I'm running FileZilla on Ubuntu 8.10. I like to use black themes, but filezilla's font becomes unreadable when I do this (white font on white background). Is there any way to specify a font color in FileZilla and keep it from using the system font color?

Known problem, fixed already but the fix won't get into Intrepid, you need Ubuntu 9.04. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284755
