Hi I've erased my wp-admin file by error and I don't know how to get it back. :?:

It's embarrassing but I need help.

Go to your safe, get the most recent backup tape, disk, stone tablet and restore the file from it.

I've tried a restore system on my PC, is that what you mean, if so it didn't work; if it's what you are saying, I will try one from even further in time, maybe it wasn't far enough. I tried the day before.

Wordpress? Can't you just re-upload the wp-admin directory from the .tar.gz package?

Thanks for all your help. I just erased my old wordpress blog and started a new one it took me 5min to get it back and running. :D

There is *no undelete* command in FTP. You delete something remotely and it's gone for good. Thus, you should always keep a backup of any site you actually care about, or consider altering the permissions to make the files read only (4 or 5 with execute for the owner's portion of the octet).
